TOP STORIES
THREE ON THREE
Hot on the heels of Ken Goldin’s streaming chase for the LeBron triple logoman on his Netflix show, Panini leaked a video of an all-new NBA 75th anniversary triple logoman of LeBron, Steph Curry and Luka Doncic. That card is one of five triple logoman cards hidden away in 2021-2022 Panini Flawless, a long-delayed product that will cost you around $10k to get…10 cards.
The million (or $10k) question? Will more logoman cards dilute the value of previous logoman cards? It’s possible, especially since the LeBron one didn’t end up selling for as much as some thought it might. Still, it’s another chance for hobby whales to get even richer, while the rest of us just open boxes for a fraction of $10k. A price that is still pretty high when you end up with nothing.
SIGNING DAY
The NFL and Panini have announced the NFL Rookie Premiere class, the 45 new players who’ll have signed cards available in next year’s football sets. The players signed the cards and unveiled their new jerseys on camera in Los Angeles.
WEMBY’S FIRST
In the most consequential NBA lottery since LeBron skipped college 20 years ago, the Spurs won the right to draft Victory Wembanyama next month. And while his Spurs cards are the real rookie ones to hunt down, Wemby has signatures in Bowman University, including one he inscribed as his first.
