Crypto and WeChat Pay now available on Alt

We’re making checkout on Alt even more seamless with two new payment options: Crypto and WeChat Pay!

Where to Find the New Payment Options

We've added a Crypto & WeChat Pay section in the payment methods area exclusively on web for now. From there, you can select your preferred option and complete your purchase securely through Stripe’s UI.

How It Works:

WeChat Pay

• Currency: Transactions are processed in USD ($).
• Fees: 3%—the same as a card payment, but with the added convenience of using WeChat.
• Limits: WeChat imposes a default daily limit of 50,000 CNY (~$7,000 USD), though individual limits may vary.

Crypto Payments

• Supported Wallets: Metamask, Phantom, and Coinbase can all be connected securely through Stripe
• Accepted Cryptocurrencies:
  • USDC on Solana, Ethereum, and Polygon.
  • USDP on Ethereum and Solana.
• Fees: 1%—a lower cost alternative to card payments.
• Limits: We will start with a $10,000 maximum per transaction with a monthly limit of $100,000.
