Graded BGS 9 Mint, this 1985 Star Slam Dunk Supers 5x7 #5 features individual subgrades of Centering 9, Edges 9, Surface 9, and Corners 8.5. Capturing Michael Jordan during his debut appearance in the 1985 NBA Slam Dunk Contest wearing Air Jordan 1s, this oversized issue stands as one of the most recognizable early-career photography pieces produced by Star Co. This is an investment-grade basketball asset.
Distributed during Jordan's 1984-85 rookie campaign in limited poly-bagged sets, the Star 5x7 Supers series represents a foundational era of licensed basketball cards prior to Fleer's 1986 release. The card's oversized dimensions, bright red borders, and delicate paper stock make high-grade surviving examples particularly condition-sensitive.Show more
