This 2002 Pokémon Expedition Tyranitar #29 brings a Gen II fan-favorite into the distinct e-Reader era. As the first release in the E-Card series, Expedition marked a major transition for the TCG by introducing the dot-code strips along the borders for use with Nintendo's e-Reader peripheral. This holofoil rare, illustrated by Kimiya Masago, features the Armor Pokémon with the Dark Aura Poké-BODY and the powerful Stamp attack. Graded a PSA 7 Near-Mint, this card sits in a population of 384 at this tier. The Expedition set is increasingly recognized by collectors for its unique aesthetic and historical importance as one of the final Wizards of the Coast-produced expansions. With its detailed artwork and the specific technical layout of the era, this Tyranitar is a standout representative of a pivotal moment in the franchise's card design history.Show more
