The 2018 Pokémon Japanese Sun & Moon Promo Pikachu #288 was issued as part of an official collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum for the "Munch: A Retrospective" exhibition. Illustrated by You Iribi in the style of Edvard Munch's iconic painting *The Scream*, this copy has been graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. According to current PSA population reports, 3,989 examples have achieved this highest grade. This card serves as an investment-grade Pokémon asset.
Distributed exclusively in Japan during the late 2018 exhibition, the Munch promo line comprises five distinct cards reimagining classic Pokémon through Expressionist fine art. Pikachu #288/SM-P was made available through designated promotional distributions in conjunction with Pokémon Center stores and the museum event. Featuring the unique move "Scream" (さけび), the card stands as a pivotal release within the Sun & Moon promo series, connecting fine art history directly to the Pokémon Trading Card Game.Show more
