The 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan #57 stands as the flagship rookie card of the six-time NBA champion and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee. Graded PSA 8 NM-MT, this example comes from a set widely recognized for its extreme condition sensitivity, where vibrant full-bleed red, white, and blue borders readily reveal chipping, wear, and centering flaws. PSA population reports record 9,424 copies at this grade. This is an investment-grade card.
Fleer's 1986 set marked the company's first basketball production since 1961, effectively initiating the modern basketball card collecting era. Anchored by Jordan's official rookie issue, the card commemorates his early career following his 1984-85 Rookie of the Year campaign and captures the foundational piece of a career that included five regular-season MVPs, six Finals MVPs, and 10 scoring titles.Show more
