The 2009 Pokémon Design Contest CoroCoro Ichiban! Winner Arceus was issued in conjunction with the Japanese theatrical release of Arceus: To a Conquering of Space-Time. Featuring artwork by grand prize winner Ryoga Kawai, the card displays the official movie logo along with the Design Contest Grand Prize stamp on the lower front border. Graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA, this copy is one of 23 to achieve the top grade in PSA's population report. This is an investment-grade card.
The 2009 Design Contest promos are among the rarest Japanese promotional releases in the franchise's history. Held across 13 distinct Japanese publications, each participating magazine selected a winner whose artwork was officially printed as a card and awarded in extremely small distributions exclusively to contest participants. Due to the lack of traditional retail or booster pack distribution, copies from the 2009 contest series hold significant historical status within the DP-P promotional era.Show more
