1999 POKEMON BASE SET VENUSAUR TRIANGLE ERROR Base Foil Pack #
Pokemon Cards
PSA10
Pop107
This 1999 Wizards of the Coast Pokémon Base Set Venusaur foil booster pack features the documented black triangle error. During the transition between 1st Edition and Unlimited print runs, Wizards of the Coast covered excess wrappers pre-printed with the 1st Edition stamp using a solid black triangle before filling them with Unlimited Base Set cards. Graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA, the population stands at 107 examples in this highest tier.
As part of the original 1999 English launch, Base Set packaging represents the inaugural release of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in North America. The triangle error variant captures a specific, short-lived factory correction from the printer, giving this sealed pack a unique place in early WOTC production history.Show more
