2007 Pokemon Diamond And Pearl Reverse Holo Gengar #27

This 2007 Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Gengar #27 is presented in its Reverse Foil parallel, graded Mint 9 by PSA. The card features artwork by Kagemaru Himeno, depicting Gengar perched on a log against a starry night sky. With a PSA population of just 32 copies at this grade, it represents a selective acquisition for Gengar character specialists. The Reverse Foil treatment covers the entire card body in a metallic, light-catching sheen, leaving the main illustration window clean and non-holographic to highlight the character art.
Released as part of the inaugural Diamond & Pearl expansion in 2007, this set introduced Generation IV to the Trading Card Game, along with the "Lv." mechanic as seen in Gengar's "LV.39" designation. Reverse holo cards from the early Diamond & Pearl era are notoriously condition-sensitive, as the expansive foil surfaces are highly susceptible to print lines, scratching, and edge wear. These vulnerabilities make finding a well-preserved copy in a PSA 9 grade a notable challenge for collectors of vintage Sinnoh-era releases.Show more
