This 2003 Pokémon Aquapolis Steelix Holo #H23 is graded a Gem Mint 10 by PSA. Out of all submissions graded by PSA, only 72 examples have achieved this pristine designation. Illustrated by Hajime Kusajima, the card features a detailed holographic background depicting Steelix floating within a deep blue, starlit cosmic field. As a release from the e-Card era, the card contains the characteristic wide left and bottom borders integrated with e-Reader dot-code technology.
Released in January 2003, Aquapolis stands as the second expansion in the e-Card series and represents one of the final sets produced by Wizards of the Coast before licensing transitioned to Nintendo. The holographic cards in this set carry the "H" prefix, designating them as part of a premium 32-card holographic subset that served as the primary chase cards of the expansion. Because of the complex design constraints of the e-Reader borders and the relatively short print run of the late Wizards of the Coast era, finding high-grade, well-centered holographic cards from this set is highly challenging.Show more
