This 2020 Pokémon Sword & Shield Black Star Promo features Charizard in its Vivid Voltage prerelease form, a variant distinguished by the expansion's logo stamped directly onto the artwork. Illustrated by NC Empire, this SWSH066 promo is a PSA 10 Gem Mint with 4,981 copies currently at this grade. These cards were originally distributed exclusively through Build & Battle Boxes during the prerelease window for Vivid Voltage, a set that helped define the mid-Sword & Shield era. Beyond its status as a Charizard chase, the card saw actual competitive play during its standard rotation thanks to its 'Battle Sense' ability and 'Royal Blaze' attack synergy with Leon. As the Sword & Shield era moves further into the rearview, these stamped prerelease promos remain a focal point for collectors who appreciate the intersection of franchise history and unique set-specific branding.Show more
