Pokemon Cards

PSA9
Pop296
Released in 2003 as part of the Japanese Pokémon Card Play promotional program, this Mew ex (#007/PLAY) features illustration work by Ryo Ueda. Graded PSA 9 Mint, the PSA population report shows 289 copies at this numerical grade. The card was available exclusively to Japanese Player's Club members who earned 7,000 EXP points through sanctioned event participation, making it unavailable in conventional retail booster packs. Due to this high point requirement and limited distribution window, the card serves as an investment-grade release within Japanese promo history. Originating in the Japanese ADV era, the Player's Club point system awarded promo cards based on cumulative match play and official event attendance. Mew ex carries 70 HP alongside the ex-rule text restricting prize card mechanics. Its printed attacks include Mutation, which deals 10 damage and prevents or reverses opposing evolution, and Psyteleport, which deals 30 damage while permitting the user to return the card to the bottom of the deck.Show more
