This 2000 Pokémon Neo Genesis Holo Lugia #9 is graded CGC Mint 9. Illustrated by Hironobu Yoshida, the card features the Legendary Johto mascot in its original English TCG debut. According to the CGC population report, 187 examples hold this grade.
Neo Genesis served as the inaugural Generation II expansion for the Pokémon TCG, launching in late 2000 to introduce Darkness and Metal types alongside new species from the Johto region. Numbered 9/111, Lugia stands as the primary holofoil chase card of the set, featuring the three-energy Elemental Blast attack. Early Neo-era releases are noted for factory condition challenges, including holofoil surface scratching and print lines, adding context to high-grade survivors.Show more
