The 2016 Pokémon XY Black Star Promo Mew #XY110 was released as part of the Mythical Pokémon Collection to celebrate Pokémon's 20th Anniversary. Featuring artwork by Kouki Saitou, this Full Art promo depicts Mew surrounded by floating petals beneath a rainbow halo. Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, this copy stands at the top tier of condition for the issue. The PSA population report records 160 examples at this grade level.
Issued in February 2016 as the first installment of the 11-part Mythical Pokémon Collection promo series, this card was exclusively available within dedicated retail collection boxes rather than standard booster packs. Sealed promo cards from this product line were seated directly inside plastic packaging trays, making pristine copies with undamaged edges and clean surface foil difficult to secure for grading.Show more
