This 1996 Bandai Carddass Part 2 Gengar #094 is a standout example of early Pokémon history, featuring the iconic Red Prism Holo finish that defined the era's most recognizable inserts. As part of the second wave of Carddass releases in Japan, this card predates the traditional TCG and showcases the classic watercolor-style artwork that established the franchise's original aesthetic. Graded a Mint+ 9.5 by CGC, this copy is exceptionally well-preserved for a set known for condition sensitivity and surface wear, with a population of only 7 examples currently recorded at this grade level. The Prism foil pattern remains sharp across the 'Monsters Collection' design, representing a foundational piece of the 1996 Japanese launch. With sustained interest in these early 'Pocket Monsters' sets, this Gengar remains a significant find for collectors focusing on the origins and vintage artwork of the series.Show more
