This 2000 Pokémon Japanese Gold, Silver, to a New World Holo Lugia #249 is graded CGC Pristine 10. Illustrated by Hironobu Yoshida, the card features the Legendary Pokémon set against a cosmos holofoil pattern. The CGC population report reflects 17 copies at the Pristine 10 grade, putting it in the top tier of surviving condition for this issue.
As the primary mascot of the Japanese Neo Genesis expansion, Lugia introduced Generation II to the TCG. The card highlights the "Elemental Blast" attack, requiring discards across three distinct energy types (Fire, Water, and Lightning). Early Japanese holofoil surfaces from this era are notoriously condition-sensitive and vulnerable to edge wear, making Pristine 10 examples difficult to secure.Show more
