Released in 1997 as part of Japan's Rocket Gang expansion, this Dark Dragonite Holo Rare (#149) captures a pivotal moment in early Pokémon TCG history. Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, the card showcases the set's landmark introduction of Dark Pokémon, bringing distinct artwork and altered battle mechanics that contrasted with the original Base Set era. Encased in a BGS 7.5 Near Mint+ slab, this copy carries subgrades of Centering 9, Corners 7, Edges 8, and Surface 8.5, with a reported population of 21 at this tier in the BGS census. Vintage Japanese holographic cards from the original pocket monsters era remain a foundational target for TCG fans, and this Dark Dragonite represents one of the signature holos from the classic 1997 Team Rocket debut.Show more
