EX Team Rocket Returns marked the historic debut of Gold Star cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, introducing alternate-coloration shiny Pokémon paired with a strict printed deck restriction stating, "You can't have more than 1 Pokémon ☆ in your deck." Inserted at low odds during the mid-2000s EX era, Gold Stars represented the premier chase rarity of their generation. As one of the three original Hoenn starter Gold Stars alongside Treecko and Mudkip, card #108 occupies a central position in the set's legacy and mid-2000s TCG history.Show more
