This 1984 Star Michael Jordan #195 card commemorates his gold-medal-winning performance with Team USA at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, this specimen is a notable early-career release from the Star Company, which held the exclusive NBA trading card license from 1983 to 1986. Because Star distributed its cards in sealed polybags rather than traditional wax packs, examples frequently suffer from centering issues and edge wear. There are 237 examples graded at this EX-MT 6 level in the PSA population.
Released prior to his 1986 Fleer rookie card, this Star card depicts Jordan in his red USA jersey number 9. During the 1984 Olympic tournament, Jordan led the undefeated United States team in scoring, averaging 17.1 points per game. This release remains a historically significant chronicle of Jordan's amateur career just prior to his debut with the Chicago Bulls.Show more
