This 2016 Pokémon XY Black Star Promo M Gengar EX #XY166 was distributed exclusively inside the Fall 2016 Collector Chest. Illustrated by 5ban Graphics, the card highlights Mega Gengar with stylized Japanese typography overlaid across the artwork alongside its Mega Evolution rule text. Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, it stands as one of 121 copies to earn the top grade in the PSA population report.
Promotional cards packaged in metal collector chests often suffered from edge wear and surface friction prior to opening, creating natural condition sensitivity for the release. Originating from the late XY Era, this card represents the specialized Mega Evolution subset within the broader XY Black Star Promo expansion.Show more
