1999 Pokemon Japanese Promo Nintedo Error Ancient Mew I #
Pokemon Cards
PSA10
Pop797
Issued as a Japanese promotional card in 1999, this Ancient Mew I features the notable copyright misspelling reading "Nintedo" along the lower front border. Graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA, the card presents clean surfaces and intact edges across its all-over holographic finish and runic iconography. PSA records reflect a total population of 790 examples at this highest numerical grade.
Distributed in Japan alongside theatrical pamhplets for the premiere of Pokémon: The Movie 2000 (Revelation Lugia), Ancient Mew carries a specialized card back and unique ancient-alphabet layout distinct from standard TCG releases. The "Nintedo" print error distinguishes this card as part of the initial print run before Media Factory corrected the copyright text in subsequent distributions, establishing this uncorrected error as the true first iteration of the release.Show more
