The 2005 Pokémon Japanese Gift Box Mew & Lucario Mewtwo Gold Star #002 is graded PSA 7 Near Mint. Illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda, the card features Shiny Mewtwo extending past the artwork border, marked by the Gold Star symbol alongside the rule restricting players to one Gold Star card per deck. PSA records a population of 254 total examples graded for this release. Distributed exclusively in Japan through the Gift Box Mew & Lucario set in 2005, this card was available only as a fixed promo within the sealed box product rather than standard booster packs. Introduced during the EX era, Gold Star cards were the first to depict shiny Pokémon variants in the Pokémon TCG, making them a key mechanical and artistic subset in the franchise's card history.Show more
