Released within the 2005 Pokémon EX Unseen Forces expansion, this Suicune Star #115/115 Holo is preserved in a CGC Pristine 10 holder. The CGC population report reflects 35 copies at this Pristine grade. Illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda, the card features Suicune's shiny variant extending beyond the inner artwork frame over a foil backdrop. This card serves as a cornerstone piece for a serious collection.
Gold Star cards hold a distinct position in Pokémon TCG history as the first subset to feature Shiny Pokémon, identified by Fukuda's signature art style where the Pokémon visually breaks out of the picture box. EX Unseen Forces introduced Gold Star versions of the Legendary Beasts—Suicune, Entei, and Raikou—each printed with a deck rule restricting players to a single Gold Star card per deck. Printed with an estimated pull rate of approximately one Gold Star per two booster boxes, high-grade examples from this EX-era set remain central chase cards of mid-2000s Pokémon collecting.Show more
