Graded BGS 9 Mint, this 2003 Japanese Pokémon PLAY Promo Mew ex (#007/PLAY) carries individual subgrades of Centering 9, Corners 9.5, Edges 9, and Surface 9.5. Beckett reports a population of 8 examples at this grade. Illustrated by Ryo Ueda, the card features the classic ex-era holographic border and artwork framing. This card was distributed as a promotional reward during the 1st Season of the Japanese Pokémon Player's Club, awarded only to members who accumulated 7,000 EXP points through active tournament and league participation. Given the extensive match requirements needed to reach the 7,000 EXP threshold, distribution was strictly constrained compared to main expansion releases of the era.Show more
