Graded PSA 5 EX, this 1999 Pokémon Base Set Holo Raichu #14 features the dark green "PRERELEASE" stamp in the bottom right corner of the illustration box. Illustrated by Ken Sugimori, the card carries a population of 1 at this exact grade in the PSA registry. Given its extreme scarcity and legendary standing in the hobby, this is a cornerstone piece for a serious collection. The Prerelease Raichu is widely recognized as one of the most famous error cards in trading card game history. The error occurred during the production of the Jungle expansion's Prerelease Clefable promo when a sheet of Base Set Holofoil Raichu cards was inadvertently fed into the stamping machine at Wizards of the Coast. Only a fraction of these stamped sheets survived, making authenticated examples among the most historically significant assets in the entire Pokémon franchise.Show more
