Pop3,392
The 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan #57 serves as the premier rookie card of the modern basketball era. Evaluated by Beckett Grading Services, this copy earned a BGS 8.5 NM-MT+ grade with subgrades of 8 for Centering, 8.5 for Corners, 9 for Edges, and 9 for Surface. Beckett population records show 3,329 copies graded at this exact 8.5 tier. This is a cornerstone piece for a serious collection.
As the flagship inclusion in Fleer's landmark 1986-87 set, card #57 captures the six-time NBA champion, five-time MVP, and 2009 Hall of Fame inductee early in his career. The 1986 Fleer issue marked the return of licensed basketball card production after a multi-year hiatus, establishing the standard for modern sports cards while presenting significant condition challenges due to the full-bleed red, white, and blue borders.Show more
