This 1998 Japanese Vending Series 1 Snorlax #143 is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. According to the PSA population report, 329 copies have achieved this highest grade. Illustrated by contest winner Keita Takahashi, the artwork originated from the CoroCoro Comic Pokémon Card Illustration Contest held in Japan.
Distributed exclusively through Japanese random-dispensing vending machines in 1998, cards in this set were printed on sheet stock and peeled off by hand, creating inherent condition sensitivity around edges and corners. As a primary feature of the inaugural Vending Series sheet expansion, this card stands as a distinct piece of early non-expansion Japanese Pokémon TCG history.Show more
