This 2023 Panini Prizm Blue Choice Victor Wembanyama rookie card (#136) is serial-numbered 42/49, representing a highly restricted print run for the most anticipated basketball rookie in a generation. Graded PSA 9 Mint, the card showcases strong centering and the distinct circular, patterned blue foil borders exclusive to the Choice format. With a PSA population of just 13 at this grade, this low-population parallel serves as an investment-grade acquisition and a cornerstone piece for any elite modern sports card portfolio.
Wembanyama's debut campaign validated the historic expectations, culminating in a unanimous 2023-24 NBA Rookie of the Year award. He averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, and led the entire NBA with 3.6 blocks per game, becoming the first player in league history to record at least 1,500 points, 250 blocks, and 100 three-pointers in a single season. This landmark rookie-year performance, followed by leading France to a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, solidifies his trajectory as a franchise-altering talent.Show more
