Released within the 2005 Japanese Gift Box Mew product, this Pikachu Gold Star (#001/002) features artwork by Masakazu Fukuda. The card is graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, with the PSA population report recording 198 copies at this grade.
Introduced during the EX Era, Gold Star cards are defined by their alternate colorations and art elements that extend past the standard illustration box, paired with a printed deck-construction limit restricting players to a single Gold Star Pokémon per deck. Distributed exclusively through the Japanese Gift Box Mew set rather than standard booster packs, this card stands as a distinct promo release from the era.Show more
