The 1999 Pokémon Base Set 1st Edition Holo Charizard #4 is the flagship release of English trading card games. Graded BGS 9.5 Gem Mint, this example received subgrades of 10 for Surface, 9.5 for Centering, 9.5 for Edges, and 9 for Corners. The Beckett population stands at 10 copies in this grade. This is an investment-grade TCG asset.
Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, the card features the Stage 2 Fire-type Pokémon with 120 HP, the Energy Burn Pokémon Power, and the Fire Spin attack. Released in the inaugural English set produced by Wizards of the Coast, 1st Edition copies are distinguished by the black edition stamp and the shadowless artwork frame unique to the initial print run. As card #4 out of 102 in the debut set, it remains the anchor piece of vintage Pokémon collecting.Show more
