The 2019 Pokémon Sun & Moon Black Star Promo Mewtwo & Mew GX #SM191 was issued as an exclusive promo inside the Power Partnership Tins. Illustrated by sui, this Full Art TAG TEAM release captures Mew resting atop a reclining Mewtwo. Graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA, there are 9,883 total examples recorded at this top grade in the PSA population report.
TAG TEAM GX mechanics were introduced in the late Sun & Moon block to feature duo Pokémon with elevated HP counts and specialized GX attacks, represented here by 270 HP and Miraculous Duo GX. The card held significant utility in competitive play due to its Perfection Ability, which allowed it to use the attacks of any Pokémon-GX or Pokémon-EX on the bench or in the discard pile provided the energy requirements were met.Show more
