This 2001 Pokémon Japanese VS 1st Edition Holo Karen's Umbreon #091 is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, representing the highest standard assigned by Professional Sports Authenticator. Illustrated by Hajime Kusajima, the card features the Johto Elite Four member's Dark-type Pokémon set against a dark holofoil pattern. Across the entire PSA pop report, 960 copies have achieved the Gem Mint grade. Given its grade and position within early 2000s Japanese TCG releases, this is an investment-grade Pokémon asset.
Released in Japan in July 2001, the Pokémon VS expansion centered on Trainer-owned Pokémon and served as the physical transition into the e-Card era. Karen's Umbreon stands as the designated main chase card of the 141-card set. Because the Pokémon VS expansion was never translated or printed in English, Japanese 1st Edition copies represent the only official physical release of this artwork.Show more
