This 2002 Pokémon Legendary Collection Gyarados #12 features the iconic artwork of Mitsuhiro Arita, framed in the set's signature Reverse Holo parallel. Graded Mint 9 by CGC, this card is a highly preserved specimen from one of the most celebrated eras of the Wizards of the Coast run. The CGC population for this card stands at 49 at this grade level, making it a scarce find for collectors seeking premium condition from a notoriously difficult-to-grade release.\nReleased in 2002, Legendary Collection pioneered the reverse holographic treatment in the Pokémon TCG, utilizing a distinct, vibrant 'fireworks' foil pattern across the entire card face. As a compilation set featuring fan-favorite reprints from Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket, it remains a cornerstone of early Pokémon card history. The extensive foil coverage makes these reverse holos exceptionally condition-sensitive, with surfaces highly prone to showing fine scratches and edge wear, rendering surviving examples in Mint condition difficult to secure.Show more
