This 2000 Pokémon Base Set 2 Charizard #4 features the defining Mitsuhiro Arita illustration that became synonymous with the franchise's early popularity. Graded a 7.5 Near Mint+ by CGC, this holofoil rare is one of 473 to reach this grade tier. As the first curated reprint set released by Wizards of the Coast, Base Set 2 combined selections from the inaugural Base Set and the Jungle expansion into a single 130-card checklist, with this Charizard remaining the primary chase card for the set. This specific example presents a clean look at one of the hobby's most recognizable designs, maintaining its status as a foundational piece for collectors looking to capture the aesthetic of the early WotC era.Show more
