The 2002 Pokémon Japanese Promo Pikachu #038/P was issued as part of the Pokémon Festa 2002 event in Japan. Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, this card represents one of 185 copies in the PSA population to earn the top grade. Illustrated by Midori Harada, the artwork depicts Pikachu standing in front of Mewtwo set against a ruined background, utilizing the e-Card era design with e-Reader code strip borders along the left and bottom edges. Distributed exclusively during venue appearances throughout the Pokémon Festa tour in 2002, this card was unavailable through standard retail booster packs. It includes the "Smash Link" attack, which references Mewtwo directly in its text effect. Japanese event promos from the e-Card period hold an established position in Pokémon TCG history due to their event-exclusive distribution method and era-specific card architecture.Show more
