The 1999 Pokémon Base Set Cosmos Holo Test Print Ninetales #12 features iconic illustration by Ken Sugimori, set against a distinct foil pattern that separates it from standard Base Set production. Graded CGC Gem Mint 10, this card shares the top spot in the population report with only 1 other copy documented by CGC at this grade. This is an investment-grade TCG asset. Created internally by Wizards of the Coast to sample the Cosmos foil structure before adopting it broadly in Base Set 2 and subsequent expansions, this card swaps out the standard Base Set starfield holofoil for the circular cosmos pattern. Because these test sheets were never released inside standard retail booster packs, verified surviving examples represent pivotal manufacturing history from the debut era of the English Pokémon Trading Card Game.Show more
