1999 Pokemon Base Evolution Box Error Wartortle #42

Pop79
Illustrated by Ken Sugimori, this 1999 Pokémon Base Set Wartortle #42 features the distinctive Evolution Box Error, where the small Stage 1 evolution window in the upper-left corner mistakenly displays Wartortle rather than Squirtle. Graded PSA 7 NM, this card stands at a population of 78 in its grade. Hailing from the original Wizards of the Coast Base Set launch that introduced the trading card game to North America, printing anomalies from this debut release maintain a steady following among vintage misprint and error collectors.Show more
