This 2005 Japanese Pokémon PLAY Promo Gold Star Jolteon #023 is graded BGS 10 Pristine, featuring subgrades of 9.5 for Centering, 10 for Corners, 10 for Edges, and 10 for Surface. Illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda, the card features the distinct Gold Star designation alongside the printed rule restricting players to a single Pokémon Star card per deck. With a population of 8 copies at this grade in the BGS report, this is a cornerstone piece for a serious collection.
Distributed during the third season of the Japanese Pokémon Player's Club, this card was awarded strictly to members who accumulated 20,000 EXP points through participation in official events and organized play. Gold Star promo cards from the Player's Club era remain among the most scarce Japanese releases due to the intensive point requirements necessary to redeem them.Show more
