This 1998-99 Skybox Premium That's Jam Kobe Bryant (#14) is graded BGS 9.5 Gem Mint, supported by subgrades of 9.5 for Centering, 9.5 for Corners, 10 for Edges, and 9 for Surface. Positioned as card 14 within the 15-card insert checklist, the card features vibrant strawberry jam-themed graphics paired with bold red foil accents. With a BGS population of 43 at this Gem Mint level, high-grade examples remain challenging to secure due to the condition sensitivity of late-1990s foil and full-bleed card stocks. Given its grade and overall preservation, this piece represents an investment-grade basketball asset.
Inserted into 1998-99 Skybox Premium Series 2 packs at a rate of 1 in 24, "That's Jam" stands among the most recognizable insert concepts of the late 1990s era. The issue captures Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant during his third season with the Los Angeles Lakers, highlighting the early career of a five-time NBA champion, 2008 MVP, and 18-time All-Star. The combination of late-90s insert design, key player selection, and strong subgrade evaluation gives this card enduring historical significance.Show more
