This 2006 Pokémon EX Crystal Guardians Blastoise Holo #2 is graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA. According to the PSA population report, only 61 copies of this card have reached this flawless grade, highlighting the extreme difficulty of locating this mid-2000s holographic card in pristine condition. Illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda, the card features the iconic final-stage Kanto starter reimagined as a dual-type Fighting and Metal Delta Species Pokémon. It displays the era-defining gold border, sharp holo foil crystallization patterns, and precise centering.
Released in 2006, the EX Crystal Guardians expansion stands as a cornerstone of the EX-era Pokémon TCG, showcasing the unique "Delta Species" mechanic that altered the traditional typing of classic Pokémon. This Blastoise is mechanically distinct due to its dual Fighting and Metal identity, utilizing the "Enraged Linear Attack" and "Skull Bash" moves. The combination of a low PSA 10 population, the enduring legacy of Blastoise, and the historical importance of the Delta Species mechanic makes this card a key piece for advanced Pokémon TCG collectors.Show more
