This 2007 Pokémon EX Power Keepers Skarmory ex (#98/108) is graded PSA Gem Mint 10. Out of all submissions of this card evaluated by PSA, only 71 copies have achieved this top grade. Illustrated by Ryo Ueda, the card depicts the Steel/Flying-type Skarmory soaring against a vibrant cosmic holographic background, framed by the signature reflective silver borders of the era. This card features the classic high-risk "ex" mechanic, including the rule requiring an opponent to draw two Prize cards upon its defeat, as well as the defensive "Metal Gravity" Poké-Body.
Released in February 2007, EX Power Keepers was the final main expansion of the EX Series, representing the swan song of the third generation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The set celebrated the Hoenn region before the game transitioned into the Sinnoh-focused Diamond & Pearl series.
