The 2004 Pokémon EX Team Rocket Returns Rocket's Mewtwo ex #99 is graded PSA 8.5 NM-MT+. Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, the card features the Legendary Pokémon rendered with dark-type artwork aesthetics and the reflective silver foil borders characteristic of mid-2000s EX-era ultra rares. According to the PSA population report, exactly 25 copies have received this 8.5 grade.
Released in late 2004, EX Team Rocket Returns remains a landmark expansion from the EX Series, recognized for its lower print runs and focus on Team Rocket-themed Darkness and Dual-Type Pokémon following Nintendo's taking over of TCG production. Rocket's Mewtwo ex stands as one of the set's primary chase cards, featuring 100 HP, the signature Darkness Switch attack, and the elevated two-prize mechanic defined by the era's Pokémon-ex releases.Show more
