This 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card, designated #57, represents one of the most recognized and significant basketball cards ever produced. Graded PSA 8 (Near Mint-Mint), this card presents strong eye appeal with vibrant red, white, and blue borders, sharp imagery of Jordan's iconic rookie-era dunk, and solid centering—a notable feature for a set frequently plagued by print misalignments. While not serial-numbered, its market standing is defined by its grade; PSA has graded 9,381 copies at the PSA 8 level, making this an investment-grade cornerstone piece for any serious sports card collection.
The 1986 Fleer set marked a historic turning point, effectively reviving the basketball card market after a multi-year vacancy left by Topps after 1982. This landmark release served as the official rookie card debut for a legendary generation of Hall of Famers, headlined by Michael Jordan. Over his career, Jordan secured six NBA Championships, five MVP awards, and a 2009 induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. This PSA 8 exemplar offers a classic, highly collectible specimen of Jordan's premier rookie asset, retaining enduring market significance as a blue-chip sports card.Show more
