Graded Gem Mint PSA 10, this 2004 Pokémon Japanese Rocket Gang Strikes Back 1st Edition Holo Torchic #020 features artwork credited to illustrator Masakazu Fukuda. The PSA population report lists 103 examples in this top grade. Printed directly on the card face is the explicit Gold Star deck-legality restriction limiting players to a single Gold Star Pokémon per deck. This is an investment-grade TCG asset.
Released in late 2004, the Rocket Gang Strikes Back set introduced the Gold Star rarity tier to the Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game. These cards were distinguished by Shiny character coloration and artwork that breaks through the traditional illustration frame, paired with low pull rates per sealed booster box. Torchic #020 stands as one of the inaugural Hoenn starter Gold Stars illustrated by Fukuda, marking a key historical release in the franchise's print history.Show more
