Graded CGC 7.5 Near Mint+, this 1996 Japanese CoroCoro Comic Promo Pikachu #25 features the documented Incorrect Illustrator misprint. CGC population records show 17 examples recorded at this grade. Printed on glossy card stock, the bottom margin mistakenly credits Ken Sugimori as the illustrator, though the 3D-rendered artwork was created by Keiji Kinebuchi. This is an investment-grade TCG asset. Distributed as a bonus insert in the November 1996 issue of CoroCoro Comic magazine, this release ranks among the earliest promotional cards in Pokémon Trading Card Game history. Distinct for its glossy finish and leaf-patterned background, the issue was corrected in subsequent printings, making this uncorrected error variant a key historic release from the game's launch year in Japan.Show more
