This 2018 Bowman Chrome Green Refractor Shohei Ohtani rookie card (#1) is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. Limited to a total print run of 99 copies, this specific card is serial-numbered 25/99 on the reverse. Out of all submissions to PSA, only 29 examples have achieved this pristine Gem Mint designation. Given its scarce population report, high condition sensitivity, and historical relevance as Ohtani's true MLB rookie year, this parallel stands as an investment-grade cornerstone piece for any serious sports card collection.
Following his historic tenure with the Los Angeles Angels that included two American League MVP awards, Ohtani reached new heights during his 2024 campaign with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He became the first player in Major League Baseball history to record 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season, finishing the year with 54 home runs, 59 stolen bases, and a World Series championship.Show more
