Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, this 1999 Pokémon Fossil 1st Edition Holo Zapdos #15 represents top-tier preservation for one of early TCG history's defining holographic cards. Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, the card features the Legendary Electric-type bird set against a dark starfoil background, stamped with the iconic 1st Edition symbol at the lower left of the artwork frame. According to the PSA population report, 378 copies have received this highest Gem Mint 10 grade.
Released by Wizards of the Coast in 1999, Fossil served as the third expansion set in the original Pokémon Trading Card Game series. As card #15/62 in the set, Zapdos completed the original Legendary Bird trio in physical TCG form alongside Articuno and Moltres. The initial 1st Edition print run was produced in far more limited quantities than the subsequent Unlimited printing, making highest-grade 1st Edition holofoils from this inaugural 1999 run foundational targets for vintage TCG collectors.Show more
