This 1996-97 E-X2000 Credentials Michael Jordan #9 is a premier parallel from the debut year of the landmark Credentials insert line. Serial numbered 171/499 on the reverse, the card is graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by Beckett Grading Services (BGS) with subgrades of Centering 8, Corners 9.5, Edges 9.5, and Surface 9. With a population of only 41 at this grade level, this condition-sensitive card is highly difficult to obtain with such strong corner and edge subgrades. Given its rarity and market significance, this high-end parallel represents an investment-grade basketball asset and a cornerstone piece for any serious collection.
SkyBox's inaugural 1996-97 E-X2000 release set a new standard for premium sports card production, introducing high-tech design concepts that came to define the late-1990s collecting era. The Credentials parallel, limited to a print run of 499, is widely regarded as one of the most important parallel sets of the decade. Featuring Hall of Famer Michael Jordan during the Chicago Bulls' historic second three-peat run, this card captures the ten-time scoring champion and six-time NBA champion at the height of his legendary career.Show more
