Distributed as a promotional insert in Japan, the 2001 Pokémon CoroCoro Comics Promo Shining Mew #151 is graded EX 5 by PSA. The PSA population report records 1,766 total copies graded across all conditions. Illustrated by Hironobu Yoshida, the card features the original Japanese "Pocket Monsters Card Game" reverse design and carries the printed gameplay restriction limiting players to a single Shining Mew in a deck.
Issued exclusively within the May 2001 issue of CoroCoro Comic, this release represents a notable promo from the TCG's Neo era. The card utilizes a textured glitter holographic foil application across the entire surface, distinguishing the shiny color variant of Mew. As a magazine-exclusive Japanese promo from the classic back era, it remains an established milestone in early promotional card history.Show more
