The 1997-98 SkyBox Premium Thunder & Lightning Kobe Bryant #TL7 insert features the Hall of Famer in his second NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Graded BGS 9 Mint by Beckett Grading Services, the card earned individual subgrades of 8.5 for Centering, 9 for Corners, 9 for Edges, and 9.5 for Surface. BGS population reports show 17 copies at this grade. This is an investment-grade basketball asset.
Released during the late-1990s basketball insert era, the Thunder & Lightning set is distinguished by its foil-etched background design and low insert ratios. The card captures Bryant's early career following his leap directly from high school to the NBA, anticipating a career that produced five NBA championships, 18 All-Star selections, and induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020.Show more
